PYO Info, Safety, and Tips
We’re thrilled to welcome you to our flower fields! Pick-Your-Own (PYO) is a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the farm, and we want every guest to have a safe, relaxing, and memorable experience. Please read through the following information before your visit:
What to Expect on the Farm
No bathrooms on-site. Please plan ahead.
No shade in the fields. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water on hot days.
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. You’ll be walking on uneven ground that may be dusty, muddy, or both.
Expect bugs. Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators love flowers just as much as you do.
Farm Rules & Safety Guidelines
No dogs allowed in the fields. If our friendly farm dog, Goose, greets you a little too enthusiastically, please let Katelyn know.
PYO fields are open only to PYO guests.
Paying guests are welcome to take photos or picnic in the fields after picking.
The fields are not open just for walking around without participating in PYO.
Children must be supervised at all times. This is a working farm, with tools, equipment, and delicate flowers.
Please stay in designated areas. This helps protect you, the flowers, and our growing crops.
Cut flowers only—no digging up plants or stepping into non-PYO sections.
Tips for a Great Visit
We provide materials to wrap your bouquet. There’s just something special about a wrapped bouquet of flowers.
If your drive home is longer than 20–30 minutes, bring a container of water to keep your flowers fresh—or use our “take a vase, leave a vase” exchange located in the flower stand cabinets.
Clippers, water, and a cup will be provided. Staff will be happy to show you how to cut flowers properly for the best vase life.
Visit early or later in the day for cooler temperatures and more comfortable picking. If afternoon works best for you, the field is open on PYO days from dawn until dusk.
Take your time and enjoy! PYO is meant to be a peaceful, hands-on experience surrounded by flowers.
Thank you for helping us keep the farm beautiful, safe, and welcoming for all. We’re excited to share our fields with you and can’t wait to see what you create with your hand-picked blooms!
